I was browsing through the Oct'07 issue of Domino, where they talk about Origami & the term origami-tecture stood out. Just wanted to post some interesting images of two locations in London. The first image is a wall mural just before entering 'Soho'. The second is a wall graffiti in Carnaby Street - a very edgy shopping side street, great place to browse around and get inspired.
For those of you familiar with 'Dale Chihuly'
His work is beyond beautiful. His usage of intense vibrant colors, sensitivity to architectural context and, his interest in the interplay of natural light on glass that exploits it's translucency and transparency are truly inspirational. The first image is an installation at the V&A- London.
